Lord & Schryver Conservancy

Restoration of the home garden of Lord and Schryver, renowned landscape architects based in Salem from 1929-1969, to bring it into the public domain. $2,000

Oregon Symphony Association in Salem

Inspiring Youth: Bringing Oregon Symphony musicians to offer Master Classes in six Salem-Keizer area high schools, sponsoring a Young Musicians’ competition, and an essay contest. $2,000

Salem Chamber Orchestra

SCO’s Open Dress Rehearsal series and Traveling Chamber Music program provide greater access to live classical music for children. $2,000

Salem Public Library Foundation

A series of workshops and performances will engage Salem-area middle and high school-aged youth in artistic and cultural exploration at Salem Public Library. $1,950

Santiam Canyon Youth and Families Alliance

Missoula Children’s Theatre provides a week-long residency where two Tour Actor/Directors develop and produce a full-scale musical with 35+ local youth. $2,000

Santiam Hearts to Arts

With Willamette University and Santiam Corridor High Schools, we wish to inspire students with a performance of Life in a Jar; The Irena Sendler Story. $2,000

Silverton High School Band

Purchase of a 4.3 octave acoustalon marimba for use in the Silverton High School Band Program. $2,000

Stayton Public Library Foundation

Outreach Storyteller Program: A Librarian visits local pre-schools & kindergartens reads to children, teaches about the library, promotes early literacy, and provide library books. $2,000

The Community Roots School
